History

In 1980 Kevin and Shawn and an ex-partner launched a company called “Alternator and Starter Exchange”, but in 1991 the company was liquidated because of a partnership dispute. Kevin and Shawn decided to buy back the company and kept on trading, and then in Dec 1996 Brian Downey joined them in partnership. All that has changed since then is the name of the company.
