While Blackie and Theresa Swart supply, service and install the pumps, Blackie has gone one further and modified them to cope with the South African climate.

Fluid Pumps, with his patented products adapted for the South African climate, saw the light in 1991. Just a year later it became the sole importer for a wide range of submersibles and end suction.
A specialist in the field, Blackie has patented his products that are perfect for the climate in our country.
His clientele reads like a who’s who page with the likes of mining giants such as Anglo Gold and Coal, Bhp Billiton, Sasol, De Beers, Iscor and Samancor resulting in Fluid Pumps operating all over the country. |
In the waste water sector, Fluid Pumps designed, patented and manufacture its own range of submersible pumps known as the VX range. These pumps, the VX-range, are designed and built to suit SA’s conditions.
While not quite an achievement yet, Fluid Pumps is in the process of designing a range of submersible pumps, including a ‘slurry dewatering’ one for the flameproof market which experience high import costs.
