One of two in this specialised engineering line, Springs Carriage Works knows how to roll and manipulate steel into an angle of your choice. From the smallest of angles at 20x20x3 at a 200 diameter, up to 200x200x20. There have been instances where a radius of between 200m to 300m is required.

The finished product is used for just about any construction purpose, such as roofing, piping for signage posts and even structures to secure a petrol tanker’s load – to name a few.

Incidentally, the new diesel tanks set up in Mozambique a year ago, which hold 47 million litres of diesel, were constructed by Springs-based Selection Carriage.

While we don’t export directly, many of our clients commission items that do leave the South African borders, such as mine plates, used nationwide, which are exported to the USA, Russia and to Africa.
